Concentricity & runout
Define the datum relationship among gear teeth, bore/spline/shaft and bearing seats.
Duty
Rated and peak torque, speed, reversals, shock and life influence material/process decisions.

Agree the report content before production when tooth or interface verification is critical.
Replacement and custom projects
Related planet gears, ring gears and component sets for projects that require system-level matching around the sun gear.
For matched planetary components, provide the complete sun/planet/ring tooth relationship and carrier information so the set can be reviewed as one stage. Individual part photos are useful only as supporting context.
When a component set should be reviewed together
If several members are damaged or the original geometry is uncertain, reviewing the sun, planets and ring together can reduce the risk of reproducing only one part of a worn or modified stage.
For related planetary components, review which existing members will remain in service and which will be replaced. A matched review is most useful when sun, planet and ring geometry or wear condition is uncertain across more than one component.
Each member can have a different interface and process requirement, so material or heat-treatment notes should stay component-specific. Duty and inspection information should be tied to the part being supplied rather than copied across the set.
