Sun Gears for Planetary Gearboxes
Planetary gearboxes place the sun gear at the center of the mesh. A reliable RFQ must treat the sun gear, planet gears, ring gear and carrier geometry as one system.

Confirm the whole planetary interface
Start by identifying which planetary member is input, output or fixed, then verify the sun-to-planet mesh and the ring-gear relationship before manufacturing.
When the original gearbox drawing is missing, supply tooth counts for the sun, planets and ring, plus carrier/center-distance information so the stage can be checked as a complete gear train.

Send the gearbox drawing, sun/planet/ring tooth counts, input and output duty, interface dimensions and quantity. Include the gearbox nameplate when the request is for a replacement.
